Response

In response to the article, “Business E-mail: Gudidance for Users” there happened to be a lot of useful information in it. The opening of the article began with how the full potential of e-mails are not used. This articles purpose is to inform people how to do it right. The guidelines help to make e-mails more efficient and effective.

E-mails are more interacting than your traditional letters. An e-mail can have multiple uses. When ever your drafting up an e-mail, you should always have the reader in mind. I also learned that there are many advantages to using e-mail but there are also many disadvantages to using e-mails. The structure of a e-mail is somewhat similar to the structure of a letter. In e-mailing there are several different styles. The styles just depend on the person.

The most useful thing that I got from this article that I will keep in mind whenever I am writing my own business e-mails in the future is to edit all my e-mails before I send them out. The other thing I plan to improve on is responding to e-mails in a timely manner.
